Desde que eu estudei a Idade Média, eu me apaixonei pela época Medieval. Claro... tirando o domínio e repressão da Igreja Católica e a falta de higiene, devia ser muito legal! Mês passado, comprei o The Sims Medieval, o box e os livros da trilogia O Senhor dos Aneis. Sempre gostei deste tipo de filme, e agora a EA Games lança The Sims - meu jogo preferido desde não lembro quando - que se passa na época medieval. Pra quem não tem o jogo e já jogou The Sims, esse novo jogo - completamente fora da série - se passa totalmente na época medieval e você tem que "evoluir" o seu reino fazendo as "quests". O jogo é completamente em inglês, mas já tem um pessoal por aí fazendo a tradução. Enfim.... voltando aos filmes... recentemente, eu assisti ao Robin Hood do Ridley Scott, com o Russell Crowe e Cate Blanchett (que também faz O Senhor dos Aneis). Resultado: já tinha assistido um mais antigo com o Alan Rickman e o Kevin Costner, mas achei meio fraquinho, muita viagem.... Enfim... esse do Ridley Scott é fodão.
Since I studied the Middle Age, I fell in love with that time. Of course... taking out the Catholic Church's domain and repression and the lack of hygiene, it must've been fun! Last month I bought The Sims Medieval, the movies and books of The Lord of the Rings. I've always liked this kind of movie, and now EA Games releases The Sims - my favourite game since I don't know when - medieval. For those who doesn't have the game and have already played The Sims, this new game - completely out of the serie - is placed on Medieval age and you have to "evolve" your kingdom by means of quests. Anyways... going back to the movies... I recently watched to Ridley Scott's Robin Hood, with Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett (who's also in The Lord of the Rings). Result: I've had already watched an older one with Alan Rickman and Kevin Costner, but I thought it was weak, too much out of this world (literally).... Anyways.... this Ridley Scott's one kicks a@#.

Esse post e a música do dia é dedicada a uma música só: "Symphonie". Primeiro, eu tinha a ouvido com o Silbermond e depois com o Celtic Woman (cantada pela Chloë Agnew). A original é cantada pelo Silbermond e está no álbum de 2004 da banda, o "Verschwende Deine Zeit". Eu não acreditei quando eu vi que a música realmente era do Silbermond. E agora eu acabei de descobrir que a Sarah Brightman fez uma versão em inglês. PODRE! Odeio quando outro artista, senão da banda, faz versão de músicas em outras línguas (vocês entenderam?). Eu, pessoalmente, não gostei da versão da Sarah Brightman por ser ela em inglês - deveria ser em alemão. Depois do Celtic Woman - não gostei muito não sei porque. E AMO a versão original, do Silbermond. Bom, vou colocar as três versões aqui. Vocês decidam e postem nos comentários.

Acho ela uma fofa!! E, por isso, o post e a música de hoje vão para ela! Ontem, eu comprei o DVD do Celtic Woman, Songs From The Heart e, mais uma vez, a Máiréad Nesbitt me hipnotizou! Não sei como ela consegue, mas ela consegue! Um dia eu ainda aprendo a tocar violino por causa dela! Minha mãe já bolou uma teoria: só pode ser playback! Eu acho que não! Minha mãe só disse isso por causa da energia que a Máiréad tem. Poucas pessoas conseguem tocar violino e sair pulando no palco sem errar uma nota! E ela consegue fazer isso e me hipnotizar ao mesmo tempo (o que é difícil, porque eu sou muito exigente nesse ponto!)! A música é The Coast of Galiçia.
I think she's adorable!! And, because of that, the post and today's song are hers! Yesterday I purchased Celtic Woman's DVD, Songs From The Heart and, once more, Máiréad Nesbitt hypnotized me! Don't know how she does it, but she does! One day I'll learn hot to play the fiddle because of her! My mother came up with a theory: it can only be playback! I don't think so! My mother only said that because of Máiréad's energy. Few people can play the fiddle and jump all around the stage without missing a single tune! And she can do that and hypnotize me at the same time (which is hard once I'm very demanding on that issue!)! The song is The Coast of Galiçia.
Até que enfim notícias do Nightwish! Fazia um tempinho já que eu não ouvia deles.... A notícia que está no site deles é que o Jukka Nevalainen já gravou a parte da bateria e agora o Emppu Vuorinen (fofooo) está gravando as guitarras. Pelo texto dele no site do Nightwish, tá meio difícil gravar as guitarras, mas... vai fundo, meu filho! Até o momento, nenhum cd do Nightwish superou o Oceanborn (1998 - Spinefarm Records). Na época do Oceanborn ainda era a Tarja Turunen nos vocais, hoje é a Anette Olzon. Eu sei que a Anette não supera a Tarja, mas quando eu ouvi o Dark Passion Play (2007 - Spinefarm Records), eu não consegui imaginar em nenhum momento a Tarja cantando alguma das músicas do CD... #fato. Agora é só esperar o final do ano que vem (espero que seja) pra ouvir o novo CD... Espero que supere o Dark Passion Play!!
P.S.: Gosto tanto do Emppu que ele merece uma foto aqui!
Pessoas, hoje é o aniversário da Amy Lee!! Parabéns pra ela!! Mandem uma hashtag no twitter#HappyBDayAmyLee. Quando saiu o clipe do Nightwish Nemo, todo mundo tentou adivinhar quem influenciou quem. Isso só aconteceria se a Amy Lee (Evanescence) e o Tuomas Holopainen (Nigtwish) tivessem um contato por telepatia... Se isso tivesse acontecido, acreditem, já tinham feito um episódio de Supernatural pra isso!! Nem Sam e Dean explicariam!! Sério, é por isso que eu só assisto os programas de comédia da MTV Brasil, porque o resto só fala esse tipo de merda! Primeiro, disseram que Evanescence era gótico... ONDE? Depois começaram a comparar com Nightwish (que também não é gótco) só porque eles têm uma mulher no vocal. Daí vem dizendo que Amy Lee parece a Tarja... NADA A VER!
At last news from Nightwish! There's been a while since I heard from them... The news that's on the website is that Jukka Nevalainen has already recorded the drums and now Emppu Vuorinen (cuteee) is recording the guitars. By his text on the website, it's been kinda hard to record the guitars, but... go get them, boy! So far, no Nightwish album has overcame Oceanborn (1998 - Spinefarm Records). When "Oceanborn" was released, Tarja Turunen was still the lead singer, now it's Anette Olzon. I know she won't overcome Tarja, but when I listened to Dark Passion Play (2007 - Spinefarm Records), I couldn't imagine Tarja singing any of the album's song... #fact. Now it's just wait 'till the end of next year (I hope so) to listen to the new album... I hope it'll overcome Dark Passion Play!!

People, today's Amy Lee's B-Day!! Happy B-Day to her!! Let's flood twitter with a hashtag #HappyBDayAmyLee. When Nightwish released their videoclipNemo, everybody tried to guess who was influenced by who. That would only happen if Amy Lee (Evanescence) and Tuomas Holopainen (Nigtwish) had some contact by telepathy... If that had happened, believe me, there would be a Supernatural episode about it!! Not even Sam and Dean would explain!! Really, that's why I only watch MTV Brazil's comedy shows, because the rest is only buls***! First, they said Evanescence is gothic... WHERE? Later, they started comparing Nightwish (that's not gothic either) only because they have a woman as the lead singer. Then they come saying that Amy Lee looks like Tarja... NO WAY!
Adoro essa música. Se não me engano, ela está na trilha sonora de O Senhor dos Aneis... não sei qual, só sei que eu não a ouvi em nenhum dos filmes.
