O Casamento Real (The Royal Wedding)

  2. A igreja estava simplesmente linda.

Brazilian Princess Paola Orléans-Bragança
Well, I just watched to Prince William and Kate Middleton's (now Princess Katherine) wedding. It was beautiful!
  1. The dress: I knew her dress would be simple. She's always dressed like that. That's the main reason I liked the dress. The best thig was Vera Wang's comments: "I was impressed with the way it was made" (or something like that).
  2. The church was simply beautiful. My mom commented that Princess Diana's wedding decoration was full of things. Couldn't find pictures, but today's decoration was simply beautiful. After all, on a church with so adorned like that one, you don't need too much decoration.
  3. It was quick. The "I now pronnounce you husband and wife" part came first, then they sat, the readings came and the ending. It's not like here in Brazil: that sit down / stand up for almost 3 or even 4 hours.
Since I saw Kate Middleton's photo, I found her beautiful, elegant and simple. She doesn't need much to show that she's the one and only Lady Kate (only Brazilians understand the joke). And it's on times like these that I remember: Brazil has a princess. But, the question is: who the hell is she?! If she walks by my side I wouldn't even know it's her. Her name is (deep breath) Paola Maria de Sapieha-Rozanski e Bourbon-Orléans-Bragança. Watching the royal wedding, I saw the national commotion on England. I think it's beautiful! Here in Brazil I only knew we had a princess because of a magazine's commercial. Anyways, best wishes to the new couple!! ^^

Adele

Música do Dia (Song of the day):
Adele - "Right As Rain"
Still on the British mood of the post, today's song is "Right As Rain" by Adele. I think Adele is beautiful and her voice even more beautiful. I'm hooked on this song!!!!! ^^

Who wants to be right as rain
It's better
When something is wrong
You get excitement in your bones
And everything you do's a game
When night comes
And your all on your own
You can say I chose to be alone
Who want to be right as rain
It's harder when your on top

Cause when hard work
Don't pay off
And I'm tired
There aint no room in my bed
As far as I'm concerned
So wipe that dirty smile off
We won't be making up
I've cried my heart out
And now
I've had enough of love

Who wants to be riding high
When you'll just crumble
Back on down
You give up everything you are
And even then you don't get far
They make believe that everything
Is exactly what it seems
But at least
When your at your worst
You know how to feel things

See when hard work
Don't pay off
And I'm tired
There ain't no room in my bed
As far as I'm concerned
So wipe that dirty smile off
We won't be making up
I've cried my heart out
And now
I've had enough of love

Go ahead and still my heart
To make me cry again
Cause it will never hurt
as much as it did then
When we were both right
And no one had blame
But now I give up
On this endless game

Cause who wants
To be right as rain
It's better
When something is wrong
I get excitement
In your bones
Even thought
Everything's a strain
When night comes
And I'm all on my own
You should know
I chose to be alone
So who want to be
Right as rain
It's harder
When your on top

Cause when hard work
Don't pay off
And I'm tired
There ain't no room in my bed
As far as I'm concerned
So wipe that dirty smile off
We won't be making up
I've cried my heart out
And now
I've had enough of love
